Westbourne welcomes you to join them as they light up the town with their FIRST EVER Light Fiesta and Festivities and join forces in the spirit of Christmas. Westbourne will be shining bright and transformed into wonderland of activities for all to enjoy.
This year, instead of a standard Christmas Light Switch On, on the 3rd December visitors will see the streets lit up for the first time EVER with a spectacular ‘Christmas Light Fiesta’ – an explosive celebration of light highlighting Westbourne’s unique qualities.
The “Christmas Light Fiesta” will be a street party, taking place from 4 – 6 pm and will include music, light performers and dancers, UV lights, LED balloons as well as glow paint and more!
For those early risers the morning of Saturday 3rd December Westbourne shops and traders will be serving up delicious delicacies, wintery fayre, handmade gifts and an array of other goodies, as well as running exclusive offers, showcasing specialist products, and an range of special tastings to tempt you too, and enticing you back into town in January.
The grand opening of Santa’s Grotto will take place on 26th November in the new pop up Grotto, this is once again located in the Arcade, in association with Westbourne Rotary. Everyone is welcome to come and meet the Westbourne Santa, along with balloon modellers and face painters to keep you entertained.
As well as the new Santa Grotto, other magical aspects this year are a brand new Nut-Cracker trail, plus live music and fun activities such as festive crafts, gingerbread making and decorating, for all to enjoy. Look out for the festive street entertainment and choirs, getting you into the Christmas spirit.
Before or after your visit to Santa, don’t forget that The Westbourne Post Office have a special Christmas post box, for all your personalised letters and special requests.
