Food 15 Campaign: Opportunity for BID Businesses
The fifth Bournemouth Food and Drink Festival will take place in locations and venues throughout Bournemouth from 19 to 28 June 2015. The Coastal BID has teamed up with the Festival team and Bournemouth Town Centre BID to create an exclusive opportunity for BID food and drink businesses to participate in the Festival.
How to participate
All you need to do is come up with a special offer for the fixed price of £15, which must be valid for the duration of the Festival (19 – 28 June). As long as the offer is valid during the whole Festival period, you are welcome to specify time restrictions (e.g between 1pm and 5pm). Feel free to be as creative with your offer as you wish, as long as it is for the price of £15.
By taking part in the Food15 campaign, businesses will be able to get involved in the Festival from their own premises, making the most of the increased footfall in Bournemouth and gaining exposure through the Festival marketing.
Last year the Festival resulted in an impressive increase in footfall:
• Average footfall in the weeks leading up to the Food Festival was 46,292
• Average footfall during the festival was 55,379
• An increase of 9,087, or almost 20%
This year the first weekend of the Festival also coincides with the new Bournemouth Jazz Festival, taking place for the first time, so the town is expected to see an even greater influx of visitors.
Beyond Bournemouth Town Centre

Whether you’re in Bournemouth Town Centre, Westbourne, Boscombe or Southbourne, the Food15 promotion will enable you to promote your business to the festival audience. Visitors in the main Festival area, Bournemouth Square, will be given a Food15 flyer with a call to action to visit a dedicated Food15 page on the Food Festival website, and your offer would be promoted on this page.
