Wrap up, relax and enjoy the festivities all day including traditional carols and live bands as part of Christmas on the Green. As day turns to night, enjoy our festive Christmas lights Switch-On.

Saturday 26th November: Christmas lights switch on

The lights switch on will take place from 4.30-5.30 pm and will include a raffle, some carols and refreshments to keep you warm.

Santa’s Postbox

Children can post their very own wish letter in Santa’s genuine post box from 26 November at 67 Southbourne Grove; Father Christmas, Santa’s grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ. Letters must be posted by 17 December and you may even get a reply from the jolly man himself!

26th November – 24 December – The Christmas Sheep Festival

 Southbourne on Sea Business Association & Churches Together in Southbourne have collaborated to bring you the Christmas Sheep Festival.

30 Sheep have escaped and it’s your challenge to find all of them!

They are all in shops in Southbourne Grove (between the Library & Hulsta) – but which ones? When you spot one, you will need to go into the shop and ask for the sheep’s name. One completed, come along to Southbourne Green on 24 December to claim your prize.

Saturday 3rd & Saturday 17th December: Santa on the Green

The events will run from 10 am to 3.30 pm and will include:

• Santa’s magical grotto
• Donkeys
• Raffle
• Face painting
• Elves
• Music and choirs
