Celebs and Bournemouth Businesses Join BCTC for Festivities
More than two hundred business people along with local and national celebrities attended the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce Winter Wonderland Ball to mark the end of the BCTC Centenary year
Over 200 businesses gathered at the Cumberland Hotel in celebration of the festive season for the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce’s (BCTC) Winter Wonderland Ball on Thursday 8th December. Joining Bournemouth businesses for the shimmering winter wonderland themed occasion were special guests The Worshipful Mayor & Mayoress of Bournemouth, Cllr. Eddie Coope & Mrs. Janet Coope; Miss International UK, Romy Simpkins; as well as X-Factor 2015 contestant, Chloe Paige. There was also spectacular entertainment on the evening from 2016 Britain’s Got Talent Semi-finalists, Khronos Agoria, plus local stars, First Position School of Dance.

“The Winter Wonderland Ball was just the thing to send off our centenary year in spectacular fashion. The BCTC Christmas Ball is always marvellous but I truly believe this was the best year yet!
It was great to see over 200 business people gather together in the spirit of the season, alongside some prestigious local and national names, to celebrate the end of another successful year.”
The sparkling night was sponsored by EcoGroup and supported by Basepoint Bournemouth and The Cumberland Hotel. A raffle on the night also raised funds for the Mayor’s Charities which this year includes The Stable Family Trust; the Department for Men’s Health and Cancer Treatment at Bournemouth Hospital; Bournemouth Parks Foundation; and The St John and Red Cross Defence Medical Welfare Service.
