Mothers DayMothers are real-life superheroes. Really now, they are! Have you ever seen a regular person who doesn’t need much sleep, is always prepared come rain or shine, has unlimited love to spread and always wants the best for you? This year if you’re struggling to find that special gift, we’ve got it sorted! Here, we give you a hand to reward superhero mothers, stepmothers, grandmothers and all mother figures…
If you’re in Westbourne during Mother’s Day, we highly recommend a visit to the Riviera Hotel & Holiday Apartments. There, you’ll get to enjoy a scrumptious three-course lunch composed of delicacies such as their Scottish Smoked Salmon and Prawn Marie Rose Bolero, Goat Cheese and Red Onion Bundle or Pineapple Posset. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available, and the menu is £19 for adults and £8.95 for children under 12.
Is your mum a big Sunday roast lover? Then you need to take her for lunch at The Libertine. As part of their £23.95 three-course menu, they offer roasts that come with beef dripping potatoes, honey-roasted carrots and parsnips, cauliflower cheese with brown butter croutons and a Yorkshire pudding. Their desserts menu looks divine too!
In Southbourne, it’s worth visiting Commodore Hotel either for a two-course or three-course meal, for £13.99 or £16.99, respectively. Their Mother’s Day menu includes an extensive range of carefully selected starters, traditional roasts, diverse mains and dainty desserts. Vegan and Vegetarian options are available too.
If your mum’s a fan of craft beer, make sure to book a table at Brewhouse & Kitchen Southbourne. In addition to their two and three-course meal options, they offer complimentary Prosecco and beer tasters for all mums, throughout the day.
On the Seafront you’ll find an eclectic mix of activities you and your mum can do on the day. If you want to wine and dine while watching the waves, Aruba is the place to go. Your mum will receive a complimentary glass of fizz and they also have a great children’s entertainment program, featuring card and gift making, a kids disco and face-painting!
Not too keen on a meal out? Take your mum to a luxurious afternoon tea among the clouds and enjoy the views from Hilton Hotel’s Level 8 SkyBar.
East Cliff is another great location to take your mum brunching or lunching on Sunday 11th March. Spoil your mum to a delicious Sunday lunch or tasty afternoon tea at Hotel Miramar. If you opt for their three-course lunch, you’ll be greeted with a cocktail on arrival and a gift for your mums. Price-wise, lunch is £32.50 per adult and £21.50 for children under 12.
Oceana Hotels are also great for celebrating Mother’s Day. Choose between The Cumberland, Suncliff, Mayfair and Ocean Beach, and along the scrumptious meal of your choice, your mum will receive free spring flowers.
Do you want to spoil your mum even more? Then check out Marsham Court Hotel’s delectable three-course meal cooked to perfection for £19.95. The meal will be accompanied by entertainment provided by the talented Brian Slade. Plus, if you visit the hotel you’ll get to see their new 1400-square foot, semi-sprung oak dance floor, which can accommodate up to 100 dancers at a time.
There are many options for you and your mum this Mother’s Day. But remember, it doesn’t matter where you take her or what you get her, what really matters is to be with her on Mother’s Day.
Happy Mother’s Day, everyone!
