The festival kicks off on Friday, June 14th, with a Stand Up Night at Ludo Lounge, featuring comedians Elaine Fellows, Travis Booth-Millard, and Dan Evans, hosted by MC Matt Roseblade. This opening night sets the tone for a weekend of non-stop laughter and entertainment.
Saturday’s events include the “King of Dad Jokes” competition, where roaming Comedy Researchers will explore Southbourne Grove in search of the best dad jokes. Prepare to groan and laugh as the festival celebrates the timeless art of the dad joke. The day also features “Shakers” by Boxed In Theatre Co at five different venues (to be confirmed) and a Stand Up Night at Renoufs Cheese & Wine Bar with Sam Williams, Tiz White, and Alex Kitson, hosted by MC Sunjai.
On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16th, the festival continues with Circus Street Performances by Steamship Performers, featuring a Circus Bike and Builders at Southbourne Grove. These entertaining performances will delight audiences of all ages and add a touch of circus magic to the festival. The Coastal Cringe Father’s Day Comedy Festival wraps up with a Stand Up Night at Makla & The Fez, featuring Jake Young, Ben Ashurst, and Paul McCaffrey, as seen on Live at the Apollo, hosted by MC Sunjai.
