Coastal BID businesses can take advantage of more than 150 free events as part of Bournemouth University’s Festival of Learning. The week-long festival, running from June 9-15, will include free training and professional development opportunities.
Those opportunities range from finding out if your website makes a good first impression to hands-on media training and tips on improving project management. University staff will share their expertise in interactive workshops, taster sessions and seminars.
Mark Painter, manager of the university’s Centre for Entrepreneurship, runs ‘An Afternoon With Entrepreneurs’ on Thursday, June 12, starting with a networking buffet at 1pm. Details are available at bournemouth.ac.uk/fol or by emailing fol@bournemouth.ac.uk
