“Westbourne is Foodie Heaven!”
Westbourne Urban Village hosts a dedicated food and drink week starting Monday 8th of June showcasing the unique and diverse selection of food and drink available in this much loved destination for foodies.
‘Foodie Heaven’ is funded by the Westbourne Coastal BID businesses and is a result of market research carried out last year by the Bournemouth Coastal BID which found that 23% of visitors came to Westbourne for Grocery and 13% for eating and drinking.
This thriving urban village is proud to boast nearly 50 venues where visitors can dine, snack or drink. An increasingly popular hub for diners during the day and evening, Westbourne’s unique appeal has attracted an ever growing and varied number of restaurants, bars, delicatessens, off licences, cafés and food stores.
During the week participating businesses will be enticing new and existing customers with special taster menus, tasting sessions, exclusive offers, cooking demonstrations and menus that have been created specifically for this exciting week.
Westbourne Business Association has also teamed up with partners, Heart FM, who will be hosting a competition offering entrants the opportunity to win an amazing food lovers prize package with meals, vouchers and cooking experiences to be included! The competition will be running for two weeks prior to and during the food week.
