The Coastal BID held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Cliffeside Hotel on Bournemouth’s East Cliff on 12th November 2015, which saw the launch of the Coastal BID’s video which has been put together to introduce the BID to businesses in the town and to report back to levy payers all that has been delivered over the previous 12 months.

The video shows the BID projects, events and marketing that have taken place and the significant levels of PR achieved on a local, regional, national and international level. It also introduces the viewer to the different trader associations and key people in the Coastal BID conurbation, including Southbourne, Boscombe and Westbourne.

Coastal BID Manager, Stefan Krause advised, “The video has been very well received and really showcases all that has been achieved. Moving forward the aim of the BID is to use many elements of the video for marketing purposes. It will be redesigned in order that it can be used by Bournemouth Tourism and hotels in the town to attract new visitors and re- engage with previous visitors who love all that the area has to offer. We shall also be looking to use it further afield and have it played in some unique locations such as ferries on The Thames in London.”

Paul Clarke, Coastal BID chairman and General manager of Bournemouth Hallmark Hotel West Cliff commented, “By creating this video I hope it will demonstrate to our levy payers what the Board and BID team have achieved over the past year and more importantly, encourage them to embrace and be a part of all the initiatives and events in order to grow business for themselves.”
