e voted for Coastal BID for almost 15 years running now! Without the support and collaboration of Bournemouth’s incredible local businesses, we wouldn’t be able to put on the events we do, and support the town and its’ businesses with nearly a decade and a half’s worth of experience doing so.

A word from us 🗣️
- Eytan Krip, Bournemouth Coastal BID Chair: ‘I want to thank every business that took the time to vote. A fourth term is a real vote of confidence, and we don’t take it for granted. Our businesses have told us they value what the BID does, and our job now is to keep earning that trust. We’ll do that by listening, by trying new things and by making sure every pound of levy works hard for them. The coast is one of Bournemouth’s greatest assets, and we’re looking forward to the next five years of making it even better, together.’
- Fiona McArthur, Head of Bournemouth Coastal BID: ‘We’re delighted and grateful that businesses have voted yes, giving Bournemouth Coastal BID a clear mandate for the next five years. It’s a huge vote of confidence in what we’ve achieved together from Westbourne to Southbourne. There is so much to be proud of along our coastline, and so much still to do. Thank you to our businesses for giving us the chance to keep working for you. Let’s get on with it.’
- Sonia Shaw, Operations and Marketing Manager: ‘The BID is an investment businesses make together, and the return is visible right along our coastline districts. From the Westbourne Motor Show and the Southbourne Halloween Festival to funding Christmas in Bournemouth which supports hoteliers’ overnight stays, supporting our Blue Flag beaches and backing Baha, and helping fund the Friday night fireworks, these are things that happen because local businesses chose to invest in their own future. As a not-for-profit company, every event we deliver is accessible and free, making this a place our local community can enjoy as much as our visitors, and next year we want to grow them further. Without the BID, the conurbation would lose much of what makes it a destination people choose. I’m very proud to deliver to our businesses and in turn to our local communities.’
