Major long term improvement works are planned on the A338, beginning on 6th September 2015 and lasting 9 months until 31 May 2016.
A contra-flow of traffic will be permanently in place throughout this 9 month period, with a 40mph speed limit. Delays of up to 40 minutes can be expected due to the over capacity of 2000+ vehicles at busy times.
Be sure that your suppliers and staff are briefed and fully aware of the impact upon logistics, deliveries and commuting.
