The Coastal BID has agreed to fund flowers on Southbourne Grove for the summer season. In addition to the flowers being funded by local traders on the pedestals along the Grove, the BID will support the placement and upkeep of flowers on five bus stop shelters this year. As Southbourne is now on the City Sightseeing bus route, having flowers on the bus shelters is of increased importance and will add to the visitors’ experience, perhaps tempting them to get off the bus and spend time in Southbourne.
