As the consultations developed the importance of attracting local people, as well as visitors, to the coastal districts became very clear.
Through the BID’s strong venture partnerships, they will be looking to gain an additional £4,000,000 through voluntary contributions. The total budget of £6,526,400 reflects exciting plans to stage a unique national Christmas attraction over the six-week festive period for the five-year BID term
The BID will work to help to improve the visitor experience across the coastal villages, while working to market these areas to local residents and visitors.
Coastal BID area covers:
Westbourne, Boscombe, Southbourne, East Cliff, West Cliff, Pier Approach, Pokesdown, Tuckton and Hengistbury Head.
