The Tuckton Vintage Ferry Service and Tuckton Tea Gardens are celebrating their 80th birthday by hosting a special family fun day on Saturday 1st November which is being supported by the Coastal BID.
The Ferry Service which runs from Tuckton down to Mudeford Sandbank, stopping at Wick Ferry and Christchurch Quay, is run by a family team. Director, Alison Vincent said, “There will be a marquee in the tea gardens with craft stalls, crazy golf, a special menu will be served and of course boat trips which will have a pirate theme!  The fun day will take place on Saturday 1st November from 11am – 3pm and is open to everyone.”  bournemouthboating.co.uk
Bournemouth Coastal BID Manager, Alun Williams added, “We are thrilled to be supporting and promoting this event by producing a leaflet which is being delivered to over 18,000 local households.  We’ve involved lots of other Tuckton BID businesses.  Many of them are offering special deals on the day and over the coming weeks to help make this an even bigger celebration.”
